Birth of Little Owl Apothecary

First off welcome to the Little Owl Apothecary blog! I thought I would start with a post that explains how this website, business, and a bunch of herbal plants are even out here taking up this space.

It has been an interesting ride to say the least but I am happy you are here and want to know more.

It was September of 2024. I had just left my job in the medical field to "retire" (that's what everyone at my job called it) to be a stay-at-home mom. It was never an admiration of mine, as I was always career driven, but once I became a mom that all changed like it does for so many women.

My viewpoint on the medical field changed during my pregnancy to begin with. I wanted everything (and still very much do) to be non-toxic, healthiest, best options not only for myself but for my baby. I had an eye opening (some can call it an awakening) spirtually about a lot of topics and the ingredients, products, and what companies claim did not add up to me. I also had never paid too much attention before. Being a mom will do that to you- because you'll do anything to protect your child from the dangers of the world.

Once being at home with my child, I was having some stomach and digestion issues. My three dogs were chronic allergy sufferers. We were spending SO much money on vet costs just to mask the problem. The same issue was happening with me and my doctor visits.
